Feedback is a two-way street
Most leaders focus on giving feedback.
But the best leaders also know how to receive it.
Feedback is a two-way street.
If you only hear from your team when things go wrong, you’re not creating enough space for real feedback.
Next time you meet with your team, ask:
❓ What’s something I can do better to support you?
❓ Where do you need me to show up differently?
❓What’s one thing you wish I’d stop doing?
❓ What do you need from me?
Then just listen.
And say thank you.
No justifications.
No defensiveness.
Just learning.
If you want to hear what others have to say, you have to make sure your side of the road is open.
