One of my favorite questions to ask a new hire early on?

"How do you like to receive feedback?"

This question might seem simple.

But it’s incredibly powerful.

It's easy to assume that everyone prefers feedback delivered the same way.

But the truth is, what works for you might not be the best approach for your new team member.

Understanding their preference not only sets the tone for open communication but also fosters a culture of trust and respect from day one.



The next time you bring someone on board, try asking this.
