Do this to lead wisely

I spent last week on vacation with my family.

It’s hard to believe that it was our daughter’s final spring break before heading to college.

We explored a new-to-us city.

We walked.
We explored.
And we ate.

But mostly, we slowed down.

What I always notice when I really unplug:

I come back seeing things just a little differently.

The urgency fades.
My pace softens.

Today, I’m bringing a bit of that vacation mindset into work.

It’s nearly 80 degrees in Boston.

I’m on the porch.
Laptop open.
And my favorite tree is in view.

So here’s your reminder:

Slowing down doesn’t mean you’re falling behind.

It might be exactly the pace you need today —

To think clearly.
To lead wisely.
And to breathe a little deeper.
