Early strengths-based leadership

Much of my work centers on supporting leaders.

Yet, I occasionally have the opportunity to share this work with students.
And Saturday was one of those days.

I had the great pleasure of working with students at Trinity-Pawling School, running a CliftonStrengths workshop.

It was a good reminder of why understanding strengths-based leadership matters so early.

Working with students through CliftonStrengths is not about preparing them for a role.
It is about helping them understand themselves.

Trust their own way of thinking.
And recognize that leadership shows up in many forms.

When young people see their strengths clearly, they carry that clarity into classrooms, teams, and eventually into the organizations they will one day lead.

I am always grateful for days that reinforce the long game of leadership development.

Plus a huge thank you to Tom Morris for pulling this day together!
