Your Friday reminder
Leadership is full of risk.
Not reckless risk.
Not performative risk.
But the quiet kind.
The conversation you initiate even though it may not land perfectly.
The decision you make before you feel 100% ready.
The boundary you set that changes expectations.
The opportunity you pursue without guaranteed applause.
But some leaders spend more time managing downside than pursuing possibility.
They calculate.
They hedge.
They wait for certainty.
But certainty rarely arrives first.
Courage does.
The leaders I most respect are not fearless.
They are willing.
Willing to try.
Willing to stretch.
Willing to learn in public.
Some risks will not work out.
That is part of the work.
But over time, the greater regret is rarely the bold attempt.
It is the quiet retreat.
Remember:
Best leaders do not avoid risk.
They choose it intentionally.
