Lead with curiosity
If I could give one piece of advice to every new leader, it would be this:
You don’t have to be the expert in the room.
Leadership is not about being the smartest person in the room.
Or knowing all of the answers.
It’s about empowering others.
When you let go of the need to have all the answers, you create space for collaboration, innovation and trust.
Your role is to ask better questions.
Instead of focusing on what you should know, focus on fostering a culture of curiosity.
And create an environment where others feel confident bringing their ideas forward.
