Summer leadership
Summer is a funny time at work.
People are in and out.
The pace is different.
It’s easy to say, “Let’s just skip our 1:1 this week.”
But this is actually the most important time to stay connected.
1:1s build trust.
They surface what’s unspoken.
They keep your team focused when things feel scattered.
Keep them short if needed.
Make them walk-and-talks if that helps.
Just don’t cancel.
Remember:
