Thank you VAIS

In schools, May is a month of endings.

It’s a time when school leaders wrap up the academic year and reflect on the journeys taken.

Today was the final session for the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS) Better than a Book Club Division Directors group.

I looked forward to joining this incredible group of division directors every month.

Each of them brought unique perspectives and insights to our discussions about leading from this role.

They were willing to explore ideas that challenged and inspired
themselves and one another.

Their schools are lucky to have them in leadership.

I can’t wait to hear about their future successes!
