The conditions for trust

Trust is the backbone of high-performing teams.

And as a leader, you create the conditions where it thrives.

Some ways you can do that:

1️⃣ Make it a priority to listen actively to your team members. Trust starts with deep conversations. Encourage others to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas. You must value their input.

2️⃣ Articulate a shared vision and make sure individuals understand how their contributions fit into the bigger picture. Everyone must see the connection between their efforts and the team's goals.

3️⃣ Foster an environment where all viewpoints are welcomed- even ones that disagree with you. Trust grows when team members can openly express their perspectives without fear of judgment. The best teams have healthy conflict and still speak with one voice.

Building trust takes time and effort.

And it's what creates a lasting impact on your team's culture and performance.
