What can go?

What is something you can take off your to-do list?

As a leader, your list can often feel endless.

And it can lead to overwhelm.

In these moments, you need to identify what to remove or defer to ease the pressure.

Consider what can be immediately taken off your to-do list:

Maybe it’s a project that can have its deadline extended to provide breathing room.

Or a task that you can delegate to a direct report.

You might identify parts of a project you can schedule for next week or next month.

And don’t forget to question if something actually should be on your list at all.

Whatever it is, I know there is something on your list that can move.

I just moved two things today.

What about you?

What can you remove or move to regain control and focus?
