You are not alone
It is a privilege to hold space for my clients.
I think about that every single time I enter a 1:1 coaching session.
Leaders today are carrying a lot.
The pace is relentless.
The decisions are constant.
And even when the concerns feel small compared to everything else happening, the responsibility still weighs heavily.
Leadership is lived in full view.
Presence matters.
Care matters.
And doing this work well requires more from leaders than many people realize.
At the end of a particularly heavy coaching session this morning, I suggested something simple.
Step outside for five minutes.
Look at the sky.
Feel the air.
Create a small pause before moving on to the next thing.
I did the same.
This is your reminder that leadership happens in bodies, not just in roles.
And that sometimes what you need the most is not another answer.
But a moment of space.
I know that many leaders do not have spaces where they are encouraged to pause.
To process honestly.
To be human without needing to perform.
So if the weight of leadership feels heavy right now, please know this.
You are not alone.
