Goals Reset

A 15-Minute Self-Reflection Exercise

Purpose:
Pause. Reflect. Refocus. Use this short exercise to realign with what matters most to you for the rest of the year.

Time required: 10–15 minutes
Materials needed: Pen and paper, journal, or a blank document

Step 1: Remember Your Goals (5 minutes)

What did I set out to do this year? Take a moment to write down your top 2–3 goals or intentions from the start of the year.

  • What did I hope would be different by now?

  • Why did these goals feel important to me at the time?

Step 2: Take Stock (5 minutes)

What progress have I made? Write down any steps you’ve taken, big or small, toward those goals.

  • Where have I seen momentum?

  • What have I learned so far?

Step 3: Recommit & Refocus (5 minutes)

What deserves my focus for the second half of the year? Based on what I just wrote, I’ll decide:

  • What’s still important to me?

  • What might need to shift or evolve?

  • What’s one specific action I can take in the next month to build momentum?

That’s it. Simple. Focused. Intentional.
