15 minutes

When was the last time you set aside 15 minutes just for you?

As a leader, you’re pulled in every direction.

There are meetings, urgent requests, and your never ending to-do list.

Today is one of those days filled with a packed schedule of meetings and coaching sessions.

But before the day started, I carved out a few minutes to reflect on some things that were on my mind about my business.

✅ I asked myself some tough questions.
✅ I wrote down insights that surfaced.
✅ I gained clarity on my next steps.

It only took 15 minutes.

But the impact?

Massive.

When I have a conversation about this process, I hear the same excuses over and over:

“Susanne, you don’t understand how busy I am.”

“I just don’t have the time.”

“There’s always someone at my door.”

Here's the reality:

If you don’t make time for yourself, no one else will.

Leadership isn’t just about guiding others.

It’s about leading yourself first.

Find 15 minutes.

Today.

Whether it’s journaling or simply being quiet with your thoughts, make it a non-negotiable.

Your team (and future self) will thank you.
