Your Friday reminder
Most leadership teams I work with are good at knowing what needs to get done.
They have the strategy.
And the work plans.
And the urgency.
But the most effective leaders I see go further.
They connect the what to a powerful why.
It sounds simple.
But it’s not always easy.
It takes intentional communication, clarity of purpose, and an understanding of what truly motivates your team.
The great leaders I know regularly ask:
- Why does this work matter?
- How does this align with our mission?
- What impact will it have on the people we serve?
It's not enough to get the work done.
You need to inspire people to understand why it's important.
