Happy Anniversary Carpenter Leadership

Yesterday was four years since I stepped out of day-to-day leadership and started Carpenter Leadership Consulting.

I planned to post about it.
But it was a full day of client work.
(Which is probably the most honest way to mark the day.)

Four years in, here's what I didn't expect:
I thought I was leaving school leadership.
It turns out I just started doing it differently.

Help someone see the thing they already know but can't quite say out loud.
Sit in the tension instead of rushing past it.
Ask the question one more time than feels comfortable.
