Thank you Dublin
I had the privilege of spending the day with the Dublin School leadership team earlier this week as Sam Bicknell kicked off his tenure.
When I work with teams with new leaders, many want to prove they know where they are going.
But this was different.
The day allowed for the team to know who they were going with first.
We used CliftonStrengths to name what each person actually brings.
Not their title.
Not their to-do list.
The way they think.
What they notice.
Where their energy comes from.
That's the part that gets skipped most.
Everyone thinks about everything that needs to get done.
But nobody stops to build the shared language for how the team actually works.
I'm grateful to have been in the room with this team
And grateful to Sam for being intentional about his start.
I can't wait to see all they do this year!
