Leadership isn’t about force

It’s tempting to respond to friction with force.

That usually sounds like:

“Let’s move faster.”
“Let’s double down.”
“Let’s just push through.”

(I have definitely said all of these things!)

But sometimes what looks like resistance is actually a signal.

Something needs to be rethought.
Something is misaligned.
Or you’re solving the wrong problem altogether.

Instead of pushing harder, pause.

Ask:
➡️ What’s really going on here?
➡️ What have I been avoiding?
➡️ What might happen if I did less, not more?

Leadership isn’t about force.

It’s about clarity, choice, and perspective.
