Navigating resistance on your team

How do you react when you meet resistance on your team?

Early in my career, I responded by pushing harder.

And let me tell you.
That did not work.

Resistance is rarely personal.

It is usually about clarity.

Does your team understand where they are going?
Do they know what is expected?
Do they have what they need to show up at their best?

When you feel resistance to an idea, a project, or a change, that means it's time to pause.

And ask:
- What is the real challenge here?
- What needs more clarity?

Your job as a leader isn't to be a mind reader.

It’s to create the conditions for your team to share what’s on their mind.

Remove what’s getting in the way.
And help them move forward with confidence.
