Pick one thing
If you do one thing with what's left of the summer, make it this:
Pick one thing to protect.
And then actually protect it.
When people realize they're running on empty, the instinct is to fix everything at once.
New routine.
New boundaries.
New system.
All starting today.
It's ambitious.
And it basically never survives a real week.
One thing survives.
One protected morning.
One meeting you finally decline.
One workout time you actually protect.
The people who actually change something don't change ten things.
They change one.
And then they hold the line on it long enough that it stops being a goal and starts being what they do.
Start small enough that you can't really fail at it.
Then guard it like it matters.
