Replay or reflect?
After a hard interaction, you might replay it.
On the drive home.
In the shower.
At 2am.
I've been there so many times.
Stuck in a loop.
What I should have said.
What they meant by that.
How it could have gone differently.
Replaying feels like reflecting.
But it isn't.
Replaying keeps you in the moment.
Reflecting gets you out of it with something useful.
The difference is one question:
"What is this teaching me?"
Next time you catch yourself on the replay loop, try asking it.
And then listen to yourself.
You know more than you realize.
