I was back in Nashville on Friday to open the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools New and Emerging Leaders program.

I had the honor of giving this opening keynote.

We dug into CliftonStrengths and the importance of self-leadership.

It was such a pleasure to engage with such a thoughtful group of new and emerging leaders.

They asked great questions and had terrific insights.

And there was a bonus!

I finally got to meet Carrie Grimes in person.

That was long overdue.

Vanderbilt University is a wonderful, welcoming home for this program.

Many thanks to Sarah Wilson and Kara Vaughn for pulling this together and for having me join you again for this program.

Connecting with school leaders like these is still one of my favorite things to do.

I was grateful for the time together!
