You say you want your team to push back.

To give you feedback.

To tell you the truth.

But then bristle when they actually do.

Your team will always follow what you do rather than what you say.

Being defensive will teach your team that they can't actually push back.

Even if you say you want to.

Next time your team comes to you with information that's harder to hear, just try saying thank you.
